The Seahorse is a two and a half-meter tall bronze sculpture depicts a boy riding a seahorse, waving in a friendly gesture. This famous sculpture created by Rafael Zamarripa located in the middle of the Malecon in El Centro. It has become the symbol of Puerto Vallarta as it represents the happiness, joy and friendship Vallartenses wish for visitors and newcomers. It is probably the most photographed of all the sculptures in Vallarta and its likeness is used on almost all publicity related to the city.
