Jalisco

Jalisco - The state of Jalisco, Mexico is home to Puerto Vallarta. The Capital City is Guadalajara, which is one of the world's largest cities with a population of nearly 6 million people. The "Charro" or Mexican cowboy and Mariachi music originate from Jalisco, as does Tequila. Due to its varied geographical regions, Jalisco has strong agricultural, mining, forestry and of course, tourism industries.
