 Viejo Vallarta Our establishment is located in the heart of the downtown area along the Malecón, right in front of the Sea Horse statue. Restaurant Bar Viejo Vallarta was founded in 1969 as a place where local people could come to watch the sunsets while enjoying a cold beer and a good meal at inexpensive prices. Today, 31 years later, it continues to be operated by the same PARTIDA-TORRES family, and its purpose is the same. It offers a great many delicious entrees, a fully stocked bar and very cold beer. Restaurant Viejo Vallarta is set on two floors and both are devoted to good food and Mexican culture. The lively bar opens at 11 a.m. where lunch is also served. The bar is open until 4 a.m. The dining room opens at 6 p.m. and serves until 12 a.m. The extensive menu is a series of mouthwatering color photographs of each dish offered.
