 Trio Bernhard opened and consulted different restaurants in town with their kitchen’s operation but in '96 he felt that it was time to create a fresh perspective on the Mediterranean cuisine in Puerto Vallarta: as a result TRIO RESTAURANT BAR CAFE first opened on August 14th. 1997. He put together all the expertise he had gained after years of working in some of the world‘s best restaurants. In 2001 Ulf joined him and their passion for hearty honest food made of this colonial townhouse a favorite of local dinners and food critics. TRIO is a cosmopolitan, casual yet elegant, eatery located in the heart of Puerto Vallarta, a multilevel restaurant with an open courtyard and a sandstone fountain, tropical greenery, colorful paintings, “al fresco” painted walls, a hand carved mahogany bar and Tiffany style windows reflecting a Southern European feel. The restaurant has a friendly atmosphere, which seems to invite people to enjoy good food and good conversation. Impressive culinary experience is deliciously blended with lots of local fresh ingredients and fine herbs: basil, rosemary, thyme, garlic and olive oil. TRIO superb touch of Mediterranean flavors with hints of Mexican spice. The Menu changes seasonally. |
