Los Milagros
Inside one
of Vallarta's oldest buildings, adobe walls and a romantic patio with
a talavera fountain create the old hacienda atmosphere where authentic
dishes from the Yucatant o Tijuana celebrate the flavors and colors of
Mexico. "Every selection in the menu is a personal all-time favorite,
and many recipes have been in my family forever," says Jorge Torres. According
to your taste and appetite, the co-owner of Los Milagros will recommend
one of three different moles, the beef tongue Veracruz style, a fresh
salad (one of them is said to include an aphrodisiac ingredient!), fajitas
or jumbo shrimp. Upstairs, the bar is the place to sip a frozen margarita
to the sound of mellow Mexican music. Prices are reasonable and portions,
generous. |
