The broad variety of options for real estate investment in and around Puerto Vallarta can be rather overwhelming. However, thanks to some easy-to-use online searching tools, you can begin narrowing your options from the comfort of your own home.

There are three websites that stand out with regard to information about Vallarta, Riviera Nayarit and real estate available within these regions. One of these is VallartaRealEstateGuide.com (VREG.com), a site that focuses on “new”  or “presale” properties that are available in and around Costa Vallarta.

The second site is MLSVallarta.com (or MLSNayarit.com), which focuses on resale properties listed with local real estate offices. And the third is a general interest site about Costa Vallarta called VirtualVallarta.com, which also has substantial information about real estate in and around Vallarta. One of these sites alone offers more information about Vallarta/Riviera Nayarit than you will find anywhere else. But be sure to check out all three!

VallartaRealEstateGuide.com

VREG.com is an online companion to the popular monthly real estate publication The Vallarta Real Estate Guide. On this site you’ll find information about popular real estate communities, the developments that are located within them, and two different ways you can search for properties. VREG.com features the MLS database of Multi-Dev Vallarta – a large MLS service created explicitly to promote new real estate developments.

The first way to search is similar to MLS search engines that you are probably already familiar with. You put in the search criteria that you are interested in, and the database-driven interface will provide you with the appropriate results. This interface works best if you are familiar with the regions, their names and where they are located.

If you are not familiar with the area, a second way to search is using our  Google Maps interface, which allows you to visualize the location of the most important developments in the region. You will also find resale properties listed here, as we continue to merge both databases to give you just one place to search for the perfect home for you and your family.
