Eric Lenoir, cafe owner and pastry chef, learned the art of pastry making as a youth, while baking at his mother’s side in Paris, France. He has worked worldwide, including being a chef in Las Vegas and Ecuador, and starring in his own TV cooking show in California. Lenoir is very grateful to Café des Artistes chef-owner Thierry Blouet and to his recently deceased friend Patrick Denoun (designer of his logo), both of whom inspired and encouraged him to live his dream, producing high quality, authentic French pastry in Vallarta.
To ensure absolute freshness, Lenoir begins baking between 1:00 and 3:00 am. He considers pastry baking a precise science, and from the first bite, you’ll appreciate his commitment to producing a superior product at a reasonable price.
