Alejandro Verdi joined the staff at Archie's Wok in 1992

Originally from Taxco, Guerrero, chef Verdi joined the staff at Archie’s Wok in 1992. Initially looking for a server position, he found there were none available, so he chose the kitchen instead. Receiving a full year of training with Archie, the restaurant’s legendary founder, prior to his unfortunate passing the following year, Verdi has continued perfecting his culinary skills under the supervision of Archie’s son, Sergio Alpenia.
