Citing “the blend of excellent beaches, authentic regional cuisine and a quaint setting,” U.S. News & World Report’s website has just placed Puerto Vallarta as the top place to visit in Mexico, along with eight other vacation destinations in the country. But this assessment could change.

The Washington, D.C.-based news magazine considered the insight of experts to pre-determine the top destinations and is currently relying on readers to determine if any of the destinations belong in the top tier or not. The website is not specific at determining the deadline by which readers can chime in with their opinion, saying it seeking help to “tally up next year’s score.” In the mean time, it is nice to see Puerto Vallarta ranked as the Best Place to Visit in Mexico, at least for now!
