Les Femme de Serge

Act II Entertainment has prepared a festive performance schedule for the rest of December, starting with the final performance of their production of A Chorus Line, December 21. A Spanish version of the show is planned for 2014.

A Chorus Line

Their singing competition, La Voz de Vallarta, has attracted a sizable local audience, and an unexpected number of expats seeking Sunday fun as audience and a jury select the best singing voice in town. Their December 22 show will feature Christmas favorites and the elimination of two of their 18 contestants. While La Voz de Vallarta usually has a $100 peso admission price, the Christmas edition will only be $50 pesos per person, but a voluntary contribution of non-perishable food or winter clothes is expected, to benefit Corazón de Niña PV, a local orphanage. Cash donations are also welcome.

Their Red Room Cabaret venue features ongoing shows by several performers, including Lynn Ruth Miller, Kim Kuzma, Chi Chi Rones, The Kinsey Sicks and Ryan Rigazzi. In addition, Guadalajara-based quartet Les Femme de Serge will present their successful tribute to French chansons from the 50s. Finally, and as previously announced, their production of Steel Magnolias (in English) will open December 27.
