The new Puerto Vallarta Men’s Chorus raised in excess of $70,000 pesos as it kicked off its fundraising efforts at a popular restaurant in Emiliano Zapata. The ensemble, already forty-five men strong and consisting of both national and international members from around the world, was inspired by similar choruses for gay men and their friends throughout the US and Canada.

Our friend Allyson Williams of JaltembaBayLife.com shared a heart warming story with us about a recent rescue of a hawksbill turtle off shore near Rincón de Guayabitos, a small community 70 minutes north of Puerto Vallarta. “Upon hearing news about the incident, I had the opportunity to get personally involved in the rescue process,” she commented via phone interview.
