Annual Palomazo Culinario Returns to Puerto Vallarta: Oct 5, 2011
On Sunday, October 16, at the Casamagna Marriott, restaurants Café des Artistes, Kaiser Maximilian, La Palapa, Marriott Casamagna, Thierry's Prime Steakhouse, Trio, Vista Grill and Vitea will, for the seventh time, combine their creative efforts to help fund four Vallarta charities.

The Refugio Infantil Santa Esperanza (RISE) and the Vallarta Botanical Gardens recently announced the 2012 Children of the Refugio Cookbook, to be published in December 2011. All profits from the sale of this publication will be split between RISE and the Gardens.

Hilton To Open First Property in Puerto Vallarta: Sep 14, 2011
Hilton Worldwide signed a franchise agreement with Grupo Hotelero Santa Fe to operate a new hotel that will be the first Hilton property in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. Scheduled to open in spring 2012, the Hilton Puerto Vallarta Resort will be located close to Puerto Vallarta International Airport and the cruise ship terminal.
