Filma13, in conjunction with the Marina Vallarta Neighborhood Association, continue their very successful outdoor evening movie screenings at Marina Vallarta’s beautiful malecón, or boardwalk. The screenings are offered free of charge and all are welcome.

Wednesday, April 17: The Fall (2006)

On Wednesday, April 17 (around 8 PM or when it is dark enough) the featured film will be The Fall, a 2006 adventure fantasy film directed by Tarsem Singh. The film begins in a hospital on the outskirts of 1920s Los Angeles, where an injured stuntman begins to tell a fellow patient—a little girl with a broken arm—a fantastic story of five mythical heroes. Thanks to his fractured state of mind and her vivid imagination, the line between fiction and reality blurs as the tale advances.

The Fall premiered at the 2006 Toronto International Film Festival, receiving generally mixed to positive reviews from critics. The late Roger Ebert gave the film 4/4: "You might want to see for no other reason than because it exists. There will never be another like it."
