The full-day experience begins with a two-hour morning yoga class with long savasana and meditation. A healthy and light breakfast follows, served between morning sessions, with local vegetarian and vegan fare.

A mid-day session includes 90 minutes of yoga studies in these areas: What are the benefits of the Yamas/Niyamas and an overview of the yoga sutras; A brief overview of the history of yoga; Aligning your practice with attention to intention, location, contents of your practice and alignment of the body. Introduction to the Yogic Lifestyle Journal.

Later in the evening, enjoy 90 minutes of end-of-day yoga practice to soothe the yogi and one night of Kirtan chanting (Tuesday).

Cost of the entire retreat is $300 USD, and does not include housing, transport or food except for three daily breakfasts served between the morning sessions. Davannayoga has some economic housing options on their website: www.davannayoga.com/YogaImmersions.php
