El Arrayán, one of Puerto Vallarta’s most popular Mexican restaurants, brings back their ongoing series of cooking classes with Chef Alfonso Corona, starting September 30. Just as in last season’s sold-out events, Chef Corona will feature menus full of tradition and authentic Mexican flavors that anyone can reproduce at home.

Chiles en nogada

Cooking classes at El Arrayán are a complete hands-on experience that begins early in the morning with a typical Mexican breakfast, followed by a visit to local purveyors and markets to obtain all the necessary ingredients (all transportation is included). The class, which is taught in English, follows and all participants receive printed recipes and an apron with embroidered logo. Finally, all students have lunch together, enjoying their creations with a cocktail or glass of Mexican wine.

The cooking class will be offered several times during the coming months. For more information about the class, menus and pricing, please visit El Arrayán. And for those who have yet to sample the restaurant's unique take on traditional Mexican recipes, El Arrayán is presently celebrated Chiles en Nogada season, showcasing this staple Mexican dish.
