Marina Vallarta has been attracting a number of its residents, along with visitors, to a series of cultural events taking place during several afternoons and evenings of the week, and continuing through the rest of the Spring.

Outdoor film screenings continue on Wednesday evenings, thanks to Filma13, a local company dedicated to organizing free-of-charge film screenings sponsored by local businesses, with cultural and educational purposes.

On Thursdays, Marina Vallarta hosts a Farmers Market along its boardwalk featuring local produce and artisan vendors. An art walk takes place on the following evening (Fridays) featuring outdoor displays of art created by local residents and artists.

Finally, an outdoor dance similar to the one that has been taking place in puerto Vallarta’s main plaza for years, now takes place in Marina Vallarta on Saturday evenings.

Most of these events continue through the Spring months, or “until it starts raining,” commented Ana María Briones, one of the organizers.
