The popular Condé Nast Traveler Magazine has released this year’s Gold List, featuring “the world’s best places to stay.” Founded in 1987, the travel publication surveys its readers on an annual basis on the world’s best hotels, resorts and cruise lines. The good news is: it was an excellent year for Mexico.
“In an area stretching from Canada to Chile, our southern neighbor—Mexico—shines brightest,” was the introduction offered by Conde Nast about our country, from which 33 properties (the most ever for Mexico and more than one-third the total in the Americas) made it to their annual list. Banderas Bay hotels that made it to the list include the Four Seasons Resort Punta Mita, Grand Velas Riviera Nayarit in Nuevo Vallarta, the St. Regis Punta Mita Resort, and the Hard Rock Hotel Vallarta (formerly Vallarta Palace) in Nuevo Vallarta.
