Punta Sayulita Announces Beach Clean-Up Day
For several years now, Punta Sayulita has partnered with its surrounding community, organizing ongoing clean-up efforts at this sought-after surfing destination in Riviera Nayarit. Their next clean-up effort will take place this Saturday, September 22, beginning at 9:30 am.
Please join Punta Sayulita and the Ocean Conservancy in celebrating the 27th Annual International Coastal Cleanup on Saturday, September 22. Each year teams of volunteers go to beaches, lakes and rivers around the world to clean trash and debris. This is one of the biggest events of the world for clean waterways and a clean ocean. For several years now, Punta Sayulita has partnered with its surrounding community, organizing ongoing clean-up efforts at this sought-after surfing destination in Riviera Nayarit.
As in past events, this is an excellent opportunity to get close and personal with Sayulita locals, and join in their commitment to maintain their town as pristine as possible. The meeting time will be 9:30 am at the Punta Sayulita Beach House (next to Don Pedro's on the beach). Following the clean-up effort, those present can participate in stand-up paddleboard relay races for a chance to win some prices.
