Tavel Secrets Mexico, a new documentary series dealing with unsubstantiated travel warnings and negative news reports about the safety situation in Mexico, is currently in production and scheduled for broadcast on FamilyNet Television, according to Herbert J. Keliner, executive producer of the TV series. The series will offer quality advice and objective information for tourists and people who wish to retire in Mexico. But most importantly, it attempts to offer new hope to Mexico’s businesses that tourism will soon return to previous levels.
“Most media outlets in the US and Canada show a distorted picture of Mexico,” commented Keliner. “Travel Secrets Mexico has begun to restore trust in Mexico’s popular tourist destinations.”
The first episode about La Cruz de Huanacaxtle in Banderas Bay is finished and will be broadcast in the US and Canada. Trailers and a preview are available on the Travel Secrets Mexico website. The production team is currently filming upcoming episodes about Puerto Vallarta and Nuevo Vallarta.
FamilyNet Television, with over 50 million viewers, will air the documentary series in the Fall of 2012. The broadcast schedule will be available on the website. Later the series will be broadcast on the Travel Channel and the Discovery Channel.
