Vallarta Adventures, an important activity provider in Puerto Vallarta, recently announced a volunteer initiative to help clean the Rio Cuale this coming Saturday, June 2, at 3 PM as part of their Vallarta Clean-Up programs. A follow-up on last year’s event in which several truckloads of garbage were extracted from one of Puerto Vallarta’s most beautiful verdant oasis, Vallarta Adventures hopes to gather as many volunteers as possible at the small island that divides Puerto Vallarta in half, to join their effort, which will begin by the Rio Cuale pedestrian bridge by the ocean.

“We care about Vallarta, and we want you to care about it with us,” commented Rich Biswell, who oversees Marketing for Vallarta Adventures locally, and in their Los Cabos operation. “It’s about feeling good doing something for our destination, and inspiring change by looking after our precious surroundings and the environment.”

To encourage participation from volunteers in other parts of the bay, Vallarta Adventures will provide transportation to the event at the following times and locations:

In addition, and to assist the cleanup effort, Vallarta Adventures will provide trash bags, gloves, water, snacks and waste transportation trucks.

Vallarta Adventures joins a select group of enlightened companies and individuals, committed to making Puerto Vallarta and surrounding communities a better place for residents and visitors. They recently adopted portions of the ornamental median strip between opposing lanes along the Carr. 200 Highway in Riviera Nayarit to ensure its ongoing maintenance and upkeep.
