Sayulita Surf Club Announces First National Paddleboard Championship
The first National Paddleboard Championship will take place in Sayulita on June 7 - 10. The event will be open to Mexican competitors in several categories, hoping to attract the finest athletes in this increasingly popular sport.
The first National Paddleboard Championship will take place in Sayulita on June 7 - 10. The event will be open to Mexican competitors in several categories, hoping to attract the finest athletes in this increasingly popular sport.
Organizers are anticipating an attendance of over 60 participants, currently members of the Mexican Surfing Federation. A series of additional events, such as a beachwear fashion show and a live music concert, are also in the works and will be announced in the near future.

The organizers are also looking for potential sponsors. The current sponsor list includes Corona, Punta Sayulita, Lunazul, Panga Surf, Teitiare Estate, Pacific Paddle, Kupuri Hotel and Stand Up Paddle México.
