Local Filming for “I Brake for Gringos” Begins

Production has started in Puerto Vallarta for a new film. Directed by Fernando Lebrija, “I Brake for Gringos,” a Coming of age comedy about two young high school kids caught up in crazy adventures when they travel to Puerto Vallarta for the most memorable Spring Break of their lives!

The cast includes Devon Werkheiser, Sean Marquette, Camille Belle and Mexican actor Silverio Palacios. More information on the film can be obtained on their Facebook page or the Internet Movie Database.

Puerto Vallarta’s history as a filming location dates back to 1963, when “The night of the Iguana” was filmed in Mismaloya, located in Vallarta’s southern coast. Some of the mMovies that have been filmed in Puerto Vallarta include:
