El Arrayán, one of Puerto Vallarta’s most popular eateries, recently announced their cooking class schedule for the upcoming fall season. As in previous years, they will be sharing a few of their trade secret recipes. A limited number of participants will join El Arrayán’s team for a traditional Mexican breakfast, visiting local purveyors, hands-on cooking instructions in their kitchen facilities, and then enjoy what they have prepared for lunch.
The fee for this professional introduction to Mexican cooking techniques and ingredients is $90 - $100 USD (depending on the menu) per person. The fee also includes transportation (restaurant - breakfast - market and back to restaurant), breakfast, instruction, take-home printed recipes, an embrodiered apron, and lunch with one cocktail or glass of Mexican house wine. The class is conducted in English and will only take place with a minimum of five people. The cooking classes take place on Mondays, on the following dates: October 17 and 31; November 7 and 21; December 5 and 19.
