El Tigre Celebrates 9th Year Anniversary

El Tigre Golf & Country Club at Paradise Village in Riviera Nayarit is getting ready to celebrate its ninth anniversary with a tournament that has become traditional in the region. On May 13, amateur golfers from Mexico, the United States and Canada will try to tame this course, which has proved to be challenging for professional golfers in tournaments as important as the Canadian Tour and the Futures Tour, both in the male and female categories.

Designed by Von Hagge, Smelek and Barig Design, the 18-hole par 72 course is one of six in Riviera Nayarit, a destination that has become one of the best worldwide for this sport and which currently has 3 more courses under development.

This course, property of Grupo Paradise Village has also hosted tournaments as important as the Copa de las Americas and the Gira Negra Modelo, besides the Canadian Tour and the LPGA Futures Tour.
