Mexican Pacific Riviera Cruise Returns to Puerto Vallarta

Published Feb 22, 2011, 12:13pm - (Updated Nov 28, 2011, 6:55pm)

Eduardo Barroso, director for Pullmantur in Mexico, confirmed that the Spanish cruise company’s Pacific Dream will return to Mexico’s Pacific Riviera beginning July 3, offering a cruise with stops in Acapulco, Manzanillo, Puerto Vallarta, Cabo San Lucas and Mazatlan. The cruise targets Mexican families as it coincides with school vacation periods. New this year is the addition of Mazatlán as a homeport, allowing passengers to board the cruise in that popular destination north of Puerto Vallarta.

Pullmantur owns a total of six ships with routes in the Pacific, the Caribbean, and the Baltic Sea. They began operations in Mexico in 2008 and last year over 30 thousand passengers booked passage on their Mexican offerings. Projections indicate an 8% passenger increase for their coming cruise season. Learn more about Pullmantur by visiting Superior Tours Vallarta, an official ticket outlet, conveniently located at Plaza Romy in colonia Emiliano Zapata.
