As is past administration changes, Xiutla's Director Enrique Barrios Limón prepared a special show with his acclaimed folkloric dance troupe to give a warm welcome to new Puerto Vallarta municipality workers. This show was presented at the Aquiles Serdan outdoor amphitheater, a Puerto Vallarta landmark known as Los Arcos. Puerto Vallarta’s recently appointed Mayor Salvador Gonzalez Resendiz attended as a special guest accompanied by aldermen and officials.
The presentation began with a special choreography featuring children between 7 and 13 years old, who made their first public performance. The show lasted nearly two hours, in which the company performed typical dances from different regions of Mexico such as Oaxaca, Puebla, Nuevo León, Tamaulipas, Jalisco, Chiapas and Veracruz.
Mayor Salvador Gonzalez acknowledged the work and dedication of Professor Enrique Barrios and all members of the ensemble.
