Sergio Zepeda, head of the Vallarta Cultural Institute, recently confirmed that the Jalisco Philharmonic Orchestra will perform in Puerto Vallarta on May 30 31, to celebrate the founding of Puerto Vallarta as a municipality, as well as a city. This year, our city marks its 95th and 45th anniversaries, respectively. This presentation, which surely will be free and held at Los Arcos Amphitheater, is possible thanks to support from our tourism and culture departments.

The concert’s program and invited conductor, along with other details, are being determined as the date approaches. However, Zepeda stated, “We are truly committed to making this concert a complete success for Puerto Vallarta’s public.” Further updates will be available on our website, www.virtualvallarta.com, and on a future edition of this newsletter.
