The newly-formed Puerto Vallarta Men’s Chorus raised in excess of $70,000 pesos as it kicked off its fundraising efforts at No Way José!, a popular restaurant in Emiliano Zapata. The ensemble, already forty-five men strong and consisting of both national and international members from around the world, was founded by Bob Bruneau, a former Seattle Men’s Chorus member and Puerto Vallarta resident, inspired by the many choruses for gay men and their friends throughout the United States and Canada. “The community response has been amazing. The money we raised exceeded our expectations and provided us with the necessary funds to secure our December holiday performance at Teatro Vallarta,” commented Bruneau.
