Amiable owner Michael Boufford is no stranger to fine dining in a hip ambiance, Bravos´ casual-chic artisanal experience enhanced by soft lighting and music, an extensive wine list and eclectic martini options. But the real deal here is the food, light and fresh, homemade and healthy and always perfectly presented, as are Bravos´ art exhibits, showcasing outstanding local photographers.

Bravos Restaurant Bar, his first venture in Mexico as chef/owner

Beginning at age 18 with the successful operation of his own restaurant for four and a half years, Canadian chef/owner Michael Boufford is no stranger to the culinary scene. He began visiting the region in 1994, joining La Cuiza for five years the following year. After a few years in Toronto, he returned to work at The River Cafe. Bravos Restaurant Bar is his first venture in Mexico as chef/owner.
