This user-friendly book is full of over 100 recipes, as well as photos and interesting stories about one of Vallarta’s historic restaurants, and its owners, Peter and Tari Bowman. In addition to recipes for some of their most popular dishes such as the award winning Tortilla Soup, Sesame Crusted Tuna and Vanilla Bean Flan, there have been some new dishes added that were not in the first edition of the book.
The overall menu is constantly changing and evolving and features Mediterranean, Mexican cuisine with the influences of Asia. Chef Rafael Nazario wrote the first edition of this book in 2001, during his seven-year career at Daiquiri Dick's where he assumed the roles of chef and general manager. Nazario currently resides in Australia where he is pursuing other interests.
